Happy Monday my quilting peeps! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. I know I did. My hubby came home from a 2 week deployment which seems like nothing compared to the 4 month or longer deployments. But it's always great to get him back home.
I wanted to show a little sneak peek at what I started last week. I can't wait to get it finished so I can quilt it. I have so many ideas for this one. Gah! I want it pieced now.
I used my Moda Gypsy Girl layer cake which I love! It's full of blue, green & pink. Great spring colors.
Any ideas on what the design will be? I think you all will love it as much as I do.
I can't wait to quilt it which is unusual for me. I usually stress for days over what design I will use. Not this time, I have tons of ideas. Maybe that means I'm getting more comfortable with my quilting skills. I sure hope so.
I've also been working on one of my February quilting goals the last couple of days. I didn't get much accomplished today but hopefully tomorrow I will finish it. Fingers crossed...
I also wanted to share an awesome swap I just signed up to do. It's a Vintage Patchwork Sheet Swap and you can sign up here. They are due in the mail by Feb 28th. There's still lots of time to find some vintage sheets and get them mailed. You should go look at all the gorgeous quilts in the Flickr group...
